Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
What Are Data-Driven Insights and How Does This Help Me Keep My Machine In The Field?
Data-driven insights are a summary of what’s been happening on your machine. For example, fault codes, fuel consumption and more. You’ll have access to this data via Vision Link™ and the FitFleet Portal, as well as through asset condition monitoring reports. You’ll also receive advice from WesTrac trained experts on what the best course of action is based on this data.
Who Performs Equipment Inspections?
- If you are on a FitFleet Essentials or Plus CVA, you'll perform your own inspections. We recommend using Cat Inspect.
- If you are on a FitFleet Premium or Ultimate CVA, WesTrac will perform all equipment inspections.
What is fluid sampling and S•O•S™ analysis?
The Cat Scheduled Oil Sampling (S•O•S) Program offered by WesTrac is a mutual commitment to protect your equipment’s health performance and value. The program provides the simple process of fluid sampling with state-of-the-art and clear reporting to give you insight into what’s going on inside your machine and detect problems before they become serious.
You can send your oil, coolant and fuel tests to WesTrac’s state of the art facilities in WA and NSW and receive expert analysis and advice on what to do next.
Is My Machine Eligible For A FitFleet CVA?
All types of Caterpillar® new and Used machinery are eligible for a FitFleet CVA. In fact, all new machines come with a FitFleet Essentials agreement. You can even add a FitFleet CVA to your newly rebuilt machine.
