What is Cat Interact?
Cat Interact is digital tool developed by Caterpillar to streamline communication with WesTrac about your work orders and services.
It helps WesTrac provide clear communication from start to finish through:
- Real-time updates on your machines' service status
- Visibility into inspections, quotes, and estimates
- Access to documents, photos, and videos
How do I access Cat Interact?
Access Cat Interact by clicking the link provided in the communication sent by the WesTrac workshop or field teams. These updates will be sent via text message and/or email and are accessible via your phone, tablet, desktop, or laptop.

Stay informed about your work order with updates delivered through the following features:
Status Menu
The workorder Status View provides a real-time snapshot of your machine's service progress.
The key information displayed includes:

View and manage service documentation as well as pre-contractual pricing in the Repair Overview Menu.
View Pre-contractual Prices
Repair overview also provides access to all approved pre-contractual prices:
- Quotes
- Estimates
- Pro Formas
Manage Pre-contractual Prices
You will receive either a text message or email notification containing a clickable link that prompts you to take one of the following actions:

The repair overview menu includes information uploaded by the Service Advisor to keep you updated throughout the repair process.

Manage Upload Alerts
- You will receive text or email alerts with a direct link to view when new content is uploaded.
- Notifications for uploads can be turned off
Inspection Menu
When a Cat Inspection Report is available, it will appear in this section. Simply click 'View Inspection' to open and review the document as a downloadable PDF.
Messages Menu
This is where you will find all communication with your Service Advisor.
- All communication is centralised within this section for easy tracking.
- Messages can be sent directly using the message box at the bottom of the page.
- Replies can also be sent via text or email using standard messaging apps.
- All replies provide our Service Advisor with instant notifications, ensuring smooth and efficient communication.
Open Work Orders
The Open Work Orders tab provide a consolidated view of all active service jobs against your WesTrac Customer Number.
Work Order Details
Each entry includes key details such as:

| Asset Info | The name, ID and Serial Number of the asset being serviced |
| Status | Current progress of the service |
| Overview | Brief summary of the service |
| Location | Where your asset is being serviced |

| ETC | Estimated time of completion |
Filtering Work Orders
To Filter Work Orders (WO):
- Click 'Filter By' to open the side panel.
- Choose from one or more of the following filter options:
- Work Order#
- PO#
- Asset
- Status
- Location
- Click 'Apply' to activate filters.
Use the 'Search for...' bar to quickly find work orders using any of the above criteria.
