How do I know if I have Cat Credits?
When you are issued Cat Credits, you will receive an email from Cat Finance stating the value, expiration, and program the credits have been issued under. Additionally, you can view your Cat Credits on parts.cat.com and the Cat Central app, please see this guide for more information.
Do Cat Credits expire?
Yes, Cat Credits do expire. When you receive your Cat Credit electronic certificate, the expiration date will be stated, this is also visible on parts.cat.com and the Cat Central app. Expiry dates vary between programs, so make sure you take note when you receive them so you don’t miss out.
Where do I find the expiry date for my Cat Credits?
Expiry dates can be found on the Cat Credits electronic certificate (emailed to you) or by viewing each Cat Credit in parts.cat.com or the Cat Central app.
Can a Cat Credit expiry date be extended?
No, Cat Credits cannot have their expiry date extended. To avoid disappointment, make sure you use them before they expire.
What can I spend my Cat Credits on?
If it’s available on parts.cat.com or the Cat Central app, then you can use Cat Credits to pay for it! Please note, Cat Credits cannot be used over the phone or via email to purchase new or used equipment, rental machinery, servicing and rebuilds, or parts and merchandise in-branch, at WesTrac.

Can I use my Cat Credits at a WesTrac branch?
No, Cat Credits cannot be used in-branch at WesTrac. They can be redeemed online at parts.cat.com or the Cat Central app, click here to sign-up now.

What happens if I’ve placed an order using Cat Credits but I need to make a return?
If you need to make a return and you have used Cat Credits to cover or to partially cover your initial purchase, the used value of Cat Credits will be returned to you as Cat Credits.
How many Cat Credits can I use in one transaction?
You can use up to 10 to the value of AU$10,000 (AU$2,500 if you’re a guest user) in one transaction.
What happens if a Cat Credit doesn’t cover the full amount of my order?
If your Cat Credits don’t cover the full amount of your order, you can make up the difference using other payment methods, such as your WesTrac Credit or a credit card.
What happens if I use a partial amount of a Cat Credit to place an order?
If your Cat Credits balance is higher than the value of your order only the balance required to cover the value of the order will be deducted from your Cat Credits. The remaining balance will remain on the Cat Credit for future use. Expiry dates remain the same.
