Managing Components

This article shows how to manage and delete components in VisionLink. 

Managing Components

Step 1: Navigate to Assets Page 

Step 2: Select Edit Assets 

Step 3: Select the first asset you wish to edit

Step 4: Select Component tab from the Edit Asset panel. 

Step 5: Add Component 

If this is a make other than Cat, you select a component or create a new component. 

Step 6: Complete fields, select Add 

Step 7: Select Save after making changes to all assets. 

Deleting Assets 

Follow these steps to remove (delete) a component. 

You can only remove components that you or another user has added. Not default ones. 

Step 1: In the Edit Asset panel, select the asset and select Component tab. 

Step 2: Select the red circle for the component you want to remove. 

Step 3: Select Yes to confirm the component you want to remove.
